I completed my Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution. There I worked on fish behavior and algal growth studies at the LTER Gump Station in Mo’orea. I have also worked in nonprofit educational programs with the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, California. I am broadly interested in human-wildlife interactions and climate change. I plan to bring an angle of environmental justice to my work and highlight the necessity of intersectionality of ecological science.
